This is a special occasion for you: to visit two World Heritage Sites in just one tour!
We will pick you up in your location and with a short drive we will take you to discover the famous sites of Caserta and Naples.
The Royal Palace of Caserta and its gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, are treasures of great splendor, just outside the city of Naples. The Versailles of Italy was once a private home of the Bourbon Kings, planned by the architect Luigi Vanvitelli and inspired by Versailles itself. Merge yourself in the Bourbon Age, climbing the flamboyant Royal Staircase, and hook into the royal apartments, the Palatine Chapel and the Paintings Gallery: let yourself be astonished by the continuous succession of stuccoes, frescoes, sculptures, flooring and inlays. Don’t miss a stroll in the magnificent surrounding park, a typical example of Italian garden, with fields, flowers and a triumph of fountains, waterfalls and water games.
Naples is set in the iconic sight of the gulf of Naples, arguably one of the most symbolic images of Italy. Its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995 and is made up of different neighborhoods which funnel down the hills to the port. Walk back in time from the Roman roads of Spaccanapoli, to the 13th century Castel Nuovo by the sea, the huge 19th century Piazza Plebiscito and the 18th century San Carlo Theater, Italy’s oldest opera house. It is easy to consider the historic center of the town as a sort of living museum piece but don’t forget that this is a very living city, adapting to changing times, where you will soak up the true energy of life.
