The Athena loop trail is an incredible path in Punta Campanella, between the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrentine Peninsula. The path’s name derives from Greek Mythology.
The walk starts in Termini (a district of Massa Lubrense) and you can reach this place from
Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast with public or private transportation. After about 3km on an old road made during World War II the path goes up for 2km with a difference in level of 400m going steeply up along a rougher track. Here, according to customers needs, there are several ways to reach Mount San Costanzo.
Once on the top of Mount San Costanzo you can enjoy the incredible views of the two Gulfs
(Salerno and Naples). Then, from there you go down the steps of the old mule track or along the asphalt road.
The path is about 7km long.
